SPARRAPS Assured

Used parts are covered after fitting.

You cannot tell whether a used component works by looking at it. So our cover does not stop at your door — it stops when the part is in the car and working.

Buying a used spare part means trusting somebody you cannot see about something you cannot inspect. We have no public reviews to point at — ratings on this platform are private by design — so the guarantee has to do that work instead. Here is exactly what it is.

  • 01

Nothing is charged before you approve

Not a deposit, not a holding fee, not a booking amount. You see photographs of the actual part, and the first time money moves is after you have said yes to those specific images.

  • 02

    Not as shown, full refund

You approved a particular component in four photographs. If something different arrives — wrong part, different condition, damage in transit — that is our failure, on every grade, new or used.

    Used parts covered after fitting

The one that matters most. If a used part does not work once your mechanic has fitted it, we source you a replacement — a fresh request into the same network, at no additional cost.

New and used are covered differently

These two policies are near-opposites, and blurring them is how people end up claiming the wrong thing. Read the column that applies to your part.

New parts

"Don't open the box until you're sure. Once it's opened we can't refund it."

A new part in an opened box cannot be sold as new again. That is why the discipline is strict — and why it is worth checking the label before you cut the tape.

Used parts

"If it doesn't work when you fit it, we'll replace it."

The opposite discipline, for the opposite reason. You cannot inspect your way to certainty on a used component, so cover continues past the point where you find out.

How a replacement works

It is not a credit note and not a wait-list. An approved replacement becomes a new sourcing request, linked to your original — same part, same grade, same vehicle, nothing charged. It goes back into the network and runs the normal course: somebody finds it, photographs it, you approve it, it ships.

You will see it in your requests with a banner showing which order it replaces, so the history stays connected.

The label is not a formality

Every parcel from our network carries a SPARRAPS label with a unique code. That code is what binds a physical package to a request in our system.

No SPARRAPS label means no refund and no replacement. Without the code there is no way to identify what came back, so the guarantee cannot be honoured. Every partner is supplied with labels by us, and a parcel should never arrive without one.

With no public reviews to hide behind, the badge and the guarantee carry the entire weight. That is a harder promise to make — and a much harder one to break quietly.
Why trust works this way here

Common questions

Can I return a used part after fitting it?

Yes. That is the point of the guarantee. A used part only reveals its condition once it is fitted, so cover does not end at delivery. If it fails when your mechanic installs it, we source a replacement at no further cost.

Can I return a new part after opening the box?

No. Once a new part's box is opened it can no longer be sold as new, so a refund requires the box unopened and intact. Check the part number on the label before opening. If a new part fails later, that is the manufacturer's warranty and is claimed directly with them.

What if the part that arrives isn't what the photographs showed?

Full refund, on every grade. You approved a specific set of photographs of a specific component; if something else arrives, that is our failure and we carry it.

Why does the parcel need a SPARRAPS label?

The label carries a unique code that ties the physical parcel to your request. Without it there is no way to identify what came back, so a return cannot be processed. Every parcel from our network carries one.
